Escape the downtown crowds and relax in these western-style gardens on the south end of Hisaya-Odori park. The sixteen meters tall atrium contains 250 varieties of orchid. Enjoy peaceful time at the restaurant and the open-air cafeteria on the patio. The gardens are decorated with orchids and seasonal flowers, offering a stylish atmosphere to experience flowers and relaxation. The spacious atrium is surrounded with approximately 250 species of 20,000 orchids annually. Visitors can escape from the hustle and bustle of city and enjoy a relaxing time in a soothing atmosphere.

A large greenhouse and several exhibit rooms surrounding a walled-in garden with walkways leading to a small pond and flowerbeds. Rare orchids from different tropical regions of the world are grown in several small climate-controlled huts set up within the garden. The gardens also feature concerts and other events. The winter illumination is particularly popular.
