Located almost in the center of Aichi prefecture, the City of Anjo was once known as “Japan’s Denmark,” since it served as a model for agricultural management across the nation. Anjo’s promotion of multiple agricultural crops, including rice, dry field crops, fruit trees, and livestock, was linked to Denmark, one of the world’s most advanced agricultural countries. Building on this history, DenPark promotes a new way of life for the 21st century, one that is friendly to flowers and other aspects of nature.
DenPark is a completely new type of park where all visitors can participate by communing with nature and enjoying rich daily life. For example, just like villages’ farmers who lived with nature as a matter of course, we want all visitors to feel closer to plants, trees, and earth, and to all aspects of nature in this park. Interestingly, you can make your own brand of food here, while surrounded by trees and flowers. This huge park presents the Danish style, and invites you to enjoy the taste of Anjo at your own pace. You can feel free to indulge in barbecues, local delicacies, and locally brewed beers. At the same time, you can participate in many events, lectures and experience classes where you can enrich yourself by learning some enjoyable hints for more comfortable daily life. The aim is to create a “21st century culture for everyday life,” where everyone can bloom like flowers.
