Yonagunisan is a kind of moth that is the largest in the world and can be found on the island of Yamamayuga in Okinawa, Japan.

Although this moth is mainly found in India, the Himalayas, Malaysia, and Taiwan it was found for the first time in Japan in Yonaguni and was given its name of Yonagunsan.

When its wings are extended, its length is about 24cm, and the color of the body has the pattern of dark reddish-brown, dark brown, or white.

The tip of the front feather is projected and looks like the head of a snake. Leaves, such as Akagi, Mokutachibana, fukanoki, and a larva are mainly eaten.
